Princess Muna honors nurses for their work during pandemic

HRH Princess Muna Al Hussein led a ceremony to honor nurses who worked during the COVID-19 pandemic, on the occasion of International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day. Director General Brig. Yousef Zraiqat noted that the nursing sector has made tremendous efforts in fighting a pandemic that reminded the world that a competent health system is the first line of defense and that medical competencies, foremost of which is nursing, are the key to saving lives, containing epidemics, and preventing their spread.

The Secretary-General of the Jordanian Nursing Council, Hani Nawafleh, praised the nurses who responded to the call of duty with courage and dedication.
